Wedding Flowers?
White would certainly be good. You might also consider pink or yellow flowers, because both of those colors would also look good with olivine and gold.

Talk to a florist about what's in season around your wedding date. Choosing flowers that are naturally in bloom will save you money. Roses are always a classic for weddings, but you can use pretty much any sort of flower you like. Look around and see what appeals to you.
Reply:Try Brides.com and The Knot.com. Everything you want to know about a wedding can be found here. They have lots of pictures of floral arrangements and bouquets. They have a community of other brides to help with all your questions.

Congratulations!
Reply:If your colors are gold and green this sounds very rich. Consider using other jewel tones such as deep purple also a very deep bugundy will look pretty. If you are not sure you are going to like such a stong color palate then you should design your flowers around one color. Layering colors is a big trend right now. as far as the type of flower this will depend on your date as well as the area you are from.

I am an event decorator and my main business is wedding flowers. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.
Reply:pinks %26amp; greens would be pretty
Reply:Go see a florist, bring a swatch of the bridesmaids dress and just tell them your accent colours and they'll sort it all out for you.
Reply:Calla Lillis are a beautiful way to coordinate with your gold and green. They have long green stems, and then a bit of yellow in the center of the flower. Tied with an ivory ribbon, it would be gorgeous. There are also miniature callas that could be used for boutonnieres and corsages. They come in several colors, and all of the colors would coordinate with your gold and green.

Reply:Wow, those are nice colors. I would personally sit down with a florist. Take a walk around and see what they have in the cooler. If you see a certain flower you like, write it down, also take note of the smell of the flowers. Some come off very strong to other people. Then look at some books of designs you really like. So you have an idea of what you are looking for. Many people go with the classic roses or calla lilys for the bride. I had white roses, white stock and stephanotis with the pearls in them. I love the smell of stock, roses were classic and the stephanotis had peals in them.

For the brides maids, go with a color that is going to complement the dress. I would think soft pinks and yellows would be good. But again, speak to a local florist. Even if you do not like the florist and want to do it yourself, you can get really good ideas from them.
Reply:Hi

White, cream or champagne roses could look lovely - roses are a perfect choice for wedding flowers as they come in so many colors and are always in season - plus they can be used in traditional or contemporary style wedding flowers either on their own with a little foliage or mixed with other flowers. Add diamante and bind the stems with gorgeous ribbon to co-ordinate with your colors

Here are a selection of white bouquets for ideas http://www.myweddingflowerideas.co.uk/we...

You can even get beautiful english cut roses which are fragrant and very elegant. http://www.myweddingflowerideas.co.uk/we...

The best advice is to find a few designs and colors that you like then go to your florist and talk through your ideas with them they should have lots of advice and inspiration - they should also have pictures of other weddings they have done to give you more ideas!
Reply:Go for calla lilies, daisies, or roses. (Carnations tend to look like funeral flowers.) Each bridesmaid can carry a single calla lily or long-stemmed rose with a gold ribbon wrapped around the stem. It would look gorgeous!
