Bridal Bouquet?

My bridal bouquet is a simple handtied bouquet with with roses, lisianthus and stock. Its going to be so pretty!!

I was trying to pick out the ribbon to wrap the bouquet with, and I cant decide whether I want midnight blue to match my colors (aisle runner, bridesmaid dress etc) or just white. I think the blue will incorporate the colors and look very rich, but it may draw away from the beauty of the all-white flowers, while while would let the flowers shine.

What do you think?

The flowers in my bouquet will look something like this:

Bridal Bouquet?
I think you should go for blue...if you put white, there will be too much white and it would the same.

Blue would make it look really nice! Congrats and Good luck!! =]
Reply:I think it would nice to have it with a wide white ribbon, with the midnight blue in a thinner ribbon as well.

My bouquet was a handtied European one of mixed flowers, and the ribbons trailing from it were each of the wedding colors of pink, lilac, yellow, and teal.
Reply:midnight blue would act like more of a neutral and wouldn't detract from the white flowers. If anything the white would compete with the blooms and take away some of the focus. I would go for the blue especially since the runner and other parts of the wedding are that blue. Congrats %26amp; God bless!!
Reply:the blue would look very nice with the white flowers. i was thinking of doing the same thing with my flowers. my colors are campaign and navy blue (military wedding) i think it would look amazing and very elegant.

congratulations and good luck!!!!!
Reply:definitely white, youre right the blue might take away from the white flowers, especially being such a rich shade like midnight blue.
Reply:Ok I have been in many weddings. 7 in the past 12 months actually, and all of my friends have fantastic taste- THey were all beautiful. However, the wedding that I without a doubt think was the prettiest was the one I was in where our bridesmaid dresses were brown and we had a solid white bouquet EXACTLY like yours. It was beautiful and I definately think you should use white or CREAM ribbon.

Blue ribbon will take away from the flowers and look too matchy matchy.

I've been a bridesmaid 11 times (so I'm definately a pro)- go natural. I promise, you will be so happy you did.
Reply:go for blue. contrast is good. not too many people will see it so don't stress about it.
Reply:I vote blue.
Reply:sweetie i would go with white, your flowers are beautiful in their varied shades of white, your gown is white and my concern would be that the blue ribbon would really stand out and catch everyone's eye drawing the attention away from the flowers and gown.

i really think white is the best choice! you are going to be a beautiful bride don't let a little bit of blue ribbon take away from that! its the small details like this that will make a difference so pick a white ribbon close to the whites in your bouquet. you want to be a vision in white against the blue runner and your girl's gowns!

happy wedding!
Reply:go for white. make yourself stand out from everything else around you. its your day
Reply:my vote is blue as well... that much white is pretty, but i think the blue will make the white look that much whiter.
Reply:I think both would look beautiful.

White would keep the bouquet more elegant and uniform.

Blue would make the whites look whiter and therefore, almost more beautiful.

So, choose by deciding which look you want to go for.

Good luck!
Reply:Definitely go with blue, that is the only thing I wish I would have done differently. My flowers were all white and my bmaids were all red, each matching our own dresses. I wish I would have had some contrast. Good Luck and congrats!
Reply:I'd go for the blue. I think it's make the flowers 'pop'.
Reply:why not have a white base ribbon just wrapped around then blue over it, thinner so u can still see the white, and with a bow or visa versa.

:)

good luck

and dont fuss! IT DOESNT REALLY matter!
