I have a bridal shower to go to tomorrow, and I'm partially running it because I'm a bridesmaid. I also have a wedding reception to go to tomorrow night after the bridal shower. I've got a spring dress from Maurices to wear to both of these events tomorrow but I have a dilemma. It's suppose to be rainy and cold tomorrow, so the dress won't really work unless I have something to wear over it (like a sweater or jacket). The dress is cream with turquoise flower pattern all over and a turquoise tank top underneath because the dress is low cut and spaghetti strapped. I also have sandals that go very well with the dress, but since it's suppose to be raining, I don't know if sandals would be the best to wear. I do have some flats that are cream and blue/turquoise plaid. Would those work?

Don't wear the "cream and blue/turquoise plaid" flats they will not go with the dress since its a floral pattern. Rough it and wear the sandles- unless you can pick up a pair of cream colored pumps.
If you get the pumps you can wear nude stockings which will keep you warmer.
Wear a simple cardigan over the dress during the day in a cream color - and at night go for a wrap.
