How much did yours cost?

how much did your wedding cake cost? I don't want a really fancy one. Maybe one that would look like four presents stacked on top of each other. It is for between 120 - 140 guests. Also how much were your flowers for yourself and bridal party?

$150 for the altar arrangement...the bridesmaid each had 1 red rose wrapped in ribbon and the maid of honor had the flowers that were left wrapped as well w/ a ribbon...these were bought at a grocery store and i already had the ribbon that was like 3 dollars at hobby lobby on special

and i used a ribbon bouquet with hand blown glass rosses that was $100 dollars

Reply:I had a 7 inch cutting cake and then we ordered 55 cupcakes which we stacked on to the tiers underneath, they cost us £180. I had one bridesmaid and our flowers cost £150 per bouquet, the corsages and button holes were almost £200 and the flowers for my mother, his mother and his sister came to £150.

Reply:I threw my wedding together for about $1000. When you don't have money, you learn how to improvise on a lot of things. It turned out pretty nice I thought. The cake was actually the most expensive thing, about $150. And my aunt made my flower arrangements for me.
Reply:We made my cake. my MIL and I made it. Decorated it with real rose petals. Cost about 50 bux to make it.





Our entire wedding was less than 5K. :D
Reply:The price of your cake is going to be determined by not only the number of servings but also your choice of icing and fillings. Also by how intricately you want it decorated overall. As for my cake, I was fortunate enough that it was given to me as a wedding gift so I'm not sure what the final price was!
