Wedding hair help!???

I am getting married next spring and I am looking for a down-do or partial up do. My hair is currently a few inches past my shoulders and I am not going to cut it. It is straight and brown. Here is the link to my dress - http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns...

The color is Peridot green. I will not be wearing a veil and would like to somehow incorporate small flowers into the hairstyle. It is a simple wedding with only close family and friends.

Can anyone suggest hairstyles or websites? Also, I do not want to pay for a "virtual hairstyles" website. I've seen them before and they are no good.

Wedding hair help!???
well ur dress is gorgeous...but the best way to know is going to a beauty salon and having them do a test run with ur hair...its ur wedding and u dont want anything to go wrong...if thats's not the rigth idea just try the simple and elegant loose curls look and pin your hair back slightly ( half up kinda ) and put some small flowers near the pin make sure u have some hair...its a really neutral pretty look...
Reply:ok loose waves and tie some strands back with flowers and maybe some silver babybreaths

There is a lot here....good luck searching!
Reply:well, the dress is strapless, so i would try to do a sort of hair do that is half up, half down, so you dont have just a stretch of neck and shoulders between your hair and the dress. thats a lot of space to fill. check out a few wedding magizines. a lot of them have hair styles in there, for every type of dress you can imagine. the most recent issue of brides had a full feature on hair. there were some really great styles in there. if you did go with the half up half down part, you could put the flowers in the part that was up. keep in mind that depending how your veil lays, it may squish the flowers. or, go talk to a hair styleist. they will be able to help you out, and maybe even do a test run of a few styles so you can see what you like best. my hair is about as long as yours, and i know from experience there is a lot that can be done with it. your possibilities are endless girl. i think some loose curls could be very pretty, with part of it up to pin your veil into.
Reply:Ooooooohh, what a lovely dress. Somewhat formal. I'd suggest a french braid to echo the beautiful weaving in back, with small flowers woven into the braid. You'll look so gorgeous.
Reply:www.theknot.com is great for all kinds of wedding questions. you do have to register, but it's free. i didn't notice any increase in spam when i signed up so i think its ok.

congrats!
Reply:beautiful dress!! Why not take the top half and pull it up and put it in a barette with flowers in a halo type setting or just have the top pulled back and curl everything in big curls

My MIL is a florist and she says any florist can make a small flower girl sized halo/ crown of flowers for around 30 or so out of small wild flowers with a ribbon or 2 off of the back of it if you wanted that
Reply:How about setting it on large rollers for some volume and waves, then from a center part braid asection on each side to the back, tucking small flowers in as you go. When you meet in the back, continue braiding it then wind and pin the sections up. Tuck more flowers in at the back. Do not make the braid extremely tight, keep it loose and let some tendrils escape for a loose romantic look. I've also seen this style done with strands of seed pearls from a craft or fabric store, woven with the hair in the braid. That would really contrast nicely with your brown hair.

Good Luck!
Reply:Check out Contemporary Bride's website - they have a lot of great ideas...

Reply:I love the dress. I have a friend who wore her hair up during the ceremony and for the formal pictures at the church and than let it down later at the reception. The back is so pretty I would try to let it show.

I would look through bride mags for hair styles -- they are weddingish and would work well to give you a nice visual.
Reply:cute dress! this look will be so perfect 4 that dress!

Reply:Maybe try some loose curls with small flowers interwoven. That will give you a romantic look that is super casual! Good luck!
