Need help with flower color?

I am trying to pick out my Bridal bouquet and Groom Boutonniere it comes with the package i got for my wedding. I can choose the following.


Red roses or


white roses or


a mix of the two for me or


a red rose


or a white rose for him


My dress will be black with blue trim. His outfit will be a blue shirt and black pants. Our ceremony will be held at the Renaissance fair in our state.and brides did not wear white wedding dresses.


i was thinking the white flowers for both but i wanted a second option.

Reply:I would go with Red. White rose petals show wear and tear very easily, and develop brown lines if bent or folded. One hug to the groom could make his boutonniere look crumpled! A red rose would hide this much better. Another option would be to choose red/gold roses as those will pop much better against a black (or blue) background than red alone.
