Processional timing? What do you think?

The aisle is about 70 feet, and the Bridal Party goes like this:

Mother of Groom

Mother of Bride

Best Man and Maid of Honor

Flower Girl and Ringbearer

Bride and Father

Should I do one song for everyone else and then a new song for me, and if so should I allow a decent pause after my music starts due to the aisle space or just have the music fade out? Not sure how it will work with that distance and your standard 3 minute song. All input is appreciated! Thanks!

I like it when a different song is played for the bride.

The bridal party will likely take less than 3 minutes to walk up, even if they walk slowly. I would let their music fade out, pause, start your song, and then begin walking down with your father.

If the song is not over by the time you walk up (probably wont take you 3 minutes), fade it out.
Reply:Usually the organist or whoever is playing your music will be able to space it for you. They should be knowledgeable and experienced in this already.
Reply:That was the first thing I planned when it came to music, a song for my bridal party to walk to and a song for me. You definitely would want to not only stand out but have your own song and entrance be very special. And also by the time your bridal party may get down the music may be over by then. I only say that because my bridal party song is about 3 1/2 minutes long and my song is about the same so by the time I would come out I would have less than a minute to get down that long aisle. Congrats and Good Luck.
Reply:You should do a different song for your processional. Then have a 5-10 second pause so everyone can stand and turn to watch you come down. Tradiotionally here comes the bride would start then you would go, but you can choose whatever song you like.
