Pink and Chocolate Brown Wedding?

I am having a pink and chocolate brown wedding in March of 2008. The bridesmaid dresses are style 8567 from David's Bridal. Are there any brides out there with suggestions!

Flowers?

Centerpieces?

Favors?

Mother of the Bride Dresses?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Pink and Chocolate Brown Wedding?
Flowers:

flowers in asst types and shades of pinks, tied simply w/brown and ivory (or white) sheer ribbon.

Centerpieces:

Use basic pink pillar candles placed in either a hurricane vase or on a simple charger, surround the base of the candle w/brown shaded stones.OR do floral arrangements that compliment your floral choices.

Favors:

little organza bags OR clear boxes of both brown and pink chocolate candies...or go to the m%26amp;ms web and order pink and brown m%26amp;ms-you can even personalize them! Sugar cookies iced w/pink glaze and a choco drizzle are cute to!

Dresses for the moms is a BROAD area! I'd say let them choose whatever style they want and are comfy in, just be sure to incorporate the colors somehow...even if only in the coursages.

Have fun and best wishes!

Reply:Try checking out the chocolate theme at customweddingsolutions.com.

They have great ideas.
Reply:Pink roses definately!

Favors? Tiny white boxes with a couple pieces of the best chocolate you can afford! Godiva maybe. Tie them with a pink ribbon

Mother of the bride dress traditionally has lace.

Checked out your bridesmaid dresses online. Very nice!

Best wishes
Reply:A rose or mauve color would be great for the mother of the bride. It would go well with the pink without being too similar.
Reply:I'm not a bride but I think if you did some small brown vases with a pink bow around the neck and light pink flowers with short stems in it, it would look beautiful. Don't forget to put pedals around the centerpiece and a brown silk table cloth
Reply:I would use a hue of pinks and the chocolate in small round bouquets for the bridesmaids and the centerpieces in chocolate candles with pink flowers or petals. The favors could be votive candles in chocolate wrapped in pink trulle and tied with a brown ribbon with your names and date in pink labels. The mothers could wear any shade of pink they choose with brown corsages with pink ribbons. Best wishes
